Whimsical Wednesday / Meet Pete!

We have a new fall guest on our porch this week. . . .

his name is Pete!

Ruth and the three youngest ones, Janiah, Elijah, and Olivia, had a blast making our friendly scarecrow!

You can tell by the wide grins on their faces that there was a lot of teasing, camaraderie, and horseplay going on.

Olivia decided she'd see if Pete would make a good pillow. Doesn't look like there's much sleeping going on though.

And then when she found her daddy socializing with Pete, she just had to take his picture, too! LOL!

So, if you're cruising the dirt roads by our house wave at Pete. He gets lonely out there by himself sometimes!
