My Pamela-Rose! She came to live with us at age 6. If you asked her why 'Rose' was her new middle name, she'd flash those dimples and quip, "Because Mama loves roses!" LOL!
Which is true, but not as much as I love this precious treasure that adorns our family. Not long after she arrived, I recognized that she had the gift of healing in her hands. She still does - using that gift every day as a Registered Nurse. What's so amazing about that is that she did her RN training while she was pregnant with their little miracle, Oakley, and completed it as she was recovering from his cesarean birth. Amazing and scaring us all, but she wouldn't quit nor give up!
Oakley Bryan Selph's arrival, on March 7, 2019

We realized a few weeks before Oakley's birth that his arrival into our family was also very prophetic. While going through some papers, I found a copy of our marriage license from 1975. Little Oakley's great granddaddy Oakley Selph, Justice of the Peace, of Telfair County at the time is who had signed it. What are the odds of that ever happening. I took it as a sign that little Oakley's birth was ushering in a season of justice for our family. Thank You, Lord!

This pic sums up what Pamela does best . . .
Mothering her precious little son, Oakley,
and caring for other little ones that she nurses at work daily!
